Translation of the abstract Production of Economical and Moisture Resistant Terracotta Tiles The invention is based on the production of a type of tiles that are used as cladding tiles in walls, floors, and stairs in houses and public buildings. It is also used in covering stoves, coating surfaces near swimming pools, and coating external walls as a decorative material. Thus, the product is of an important value. In addition of being a material used in many fields, the invention is a way to employ Iraqi natural resources to make use of them in the manufacture of a material that can be used in covering walls and floors. Adding to that, the product meets the need of construction as it is a material that can be adapted to the air temperature in Iraq and this shows its importance. The invention offers a production for this type of tiles that are imported from outside Iraq at a great cost, so the current product comes to meet the country's need and from components that are available locally at very low prices. The research is a way to produce terracotta tiles, one of the types of tiles that are friendly to the environment and human, by employing resources available in the Iraqi environment and producing them in a new industry.
