Professor Dr. Safa Lutfi gets a new patent (patent number twenty-eighth for her) which titled "Production of high-quality vegetable fertilizer to improve soil properties from local plants". The new invention takes advantages from abundance of the natural plants that are available in the local environment (land and water environment) like the jungles that have not employed in a useful industry. Thus, the current invention comes to provide the possibility of getting benefits from them in the field of developing the local soil and increasing its efficiency which provide a new Iraqi product of agricultural fertilizers and achieving self-sufficiency at a very low price comparing to the imported agricultural fertilizers. The invention gives natural alternatives in agricultural production field. It is based on solving an environmental problem related to the spread of such jungles in large quantities. Additionally, the invention can be considered as a way of recycling these plant wastes in the preparation of compost that can help improving the properties of Iraqi soil.
