A lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Safa Lotfi Abdul-Amir, published a book (Shatha Al-Maharib Arabic and Islamic / Historical and Analytical Study) with (110) pages of large pieces, by Ibn Al-Nafis Publishing and Distribution in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The book highlights the most important mihrabs as well as the oldest. It deals with study and analysis in terms of their architectural design, patronage and raw materials. It reflects their impact on the architecture of the mihrabs in various parts of the world. He reads the architecture of Arab and Islamic mihrabs in terms of origin and development in a historical and analytical study. The mihrab is one of the important architectural elements in Arab and Islamic architecture, and it comes to document a unique style on the one hand and achieve distinctive features that mark Arab and Islamic architecture with the beauty of beauty, on the other hand, as well as its contents that exude its aroma in all parts of the Islamic world, derived from its honor and purity.
